There are several proposal to a) increase the amount; b) extend it to all buyers; c) remove income limits; and d) extend the current program as is through 2010. If you’re trying to time the market, don’t miss out on the current opportunities out there while you’re waiting for the “bottom” or a better tax credit. Especially in the Rochester market, where we don’t have extreme highs/lows in the real estate market, you may miss out on one of the best opportunities in recent history.
