Nothnagle REALTORS® Donates 1,233 pounds to Local Food Pantries
(Rochester, NY) – Nothnagle REALTORS® is pleased to announce that its first Food Drive in conjunction with its annual company-wide Clam Bake has raised over 1,000 pounds of nonperishable food items that were subsequently donated to Foodlink in Rochester and Food Bank of Western New York in Buffalo.
The company event was held on Friday, October 17 at the Burgundy Basin Inn. In attendance were Nothnagle Corporate upper management, employees, and agents from the 30+ branch offices throughout Western New York. Guests were asked to participate and bring one food item in lieu of an entrance ticket. The response was overwhelming. Guests brought bags and, in some instances, cases of food! The generosity of both the agents and the staff was truly humbling; in result, the first food drive was an immense success. From the 423 attendees, Nothnagle collected 846 pounds of goods for Foodlink and 387 pounds of items for Food Bank of WNY with a total collection of 1,233 pounds for the two local food pantries!
A special thank you to both Premium Mortgage for co-sponsoring the event and to the Law Firm Pheterson Spatorico Neilans LLP for graciously donating the raffle prize.
“The generosity of our agents and staff is truly remarkable,” said Armand D’Alfonso, President and CEO of Nothnagle. “Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make our first food drive an incredible success!”
