February break is here, this means we are one step closer to spring! This may also mean your children are home and slowly but surely going stir crazy…and it is only Monday. Here are some ideas for getting out there and making your child’s February break fun and exciting.
Rochester Museum and Science Center- the RMSC is holding a number of events throughout the week for a variety of ages.
Seneca Park Zoo– the Zoo Habitat Explorers is a program running all week for children from kindergarten to third grade.
The Public Library- Public libraries all around town are holding a variety of events. From the teen writing group at the Henrietta Public Library, to Story time with Hannah at the Gates public library there is fun to be had for all ages.
The Strong National Museum of Play- In addition to the normal every day fun at the National Museum of Play, the Race to win school break week is a fun event offered throughout the week where children can create and design their own match race car.
The Geva Theater Center and The Auditorium Theater- To Kill a Mocking Bird, An lliad, and Star Trek are a just few shows to visit this week.
Corning Museum of Glass- Enjoy free admission to Museum of Glass from 5 to 8 pm on Thursday the 18th!
